Bill, Paul and Dale have a combined experience of 45 years in the construction trades with 20 of these years as Building Inspectors in the Kootenay / Boundary region.

During this time we have completed over 8,000 inspections.

Bill and Paul are Registered Home Inspectors, the highest level recognized by The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors and The American Society of Home Inspectors. Dale is a registered Associate Home Inspector with The Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors. All Lynch inspectors are qualified with the National Warranty Insurance Program for new home quality control and building code compliance inspections.

We are BC-trained tradesmen who have worked have life careers in the construction industry as carpenters, building consultants and construction supervisors.

Bill began his inspection career in the Kootenay / Boundary region in 1981 for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. He is the founder of Lynch Inspections, a fully-quailfied Registered Home Inspector, Level One certified Building Code Inspector (more info), and a nationally certified Air Quality Investigator (more info). He specializes in construction specification writing and project management. Bill provided the forensic inspections and the repair prescriptions that ultimately restored the first two sets of "leaky condos" discovered in the Kootenay / Boundary region.

Paul has over 15 years experience in custom home building and home renovation contracting and he is a certified Level One Building Code expert (more info). He has worked extensively with quality home builders both in the Kootenay / Boundary region and Calgary. He is a graduate of the Carson Dunlop Building Inspection Program with 97% grade averages. Paul is a Registered Home Inspector and an active member of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors CAHPI(BC) with hundreds of home and property inspections to his credit.

Dale joined the Lynch team in 2007 bringing with him an extensive construction background. Since 1987 he has constructed and sold new residential homes, renovated existing buildings and maintained mechanical, structural and electrical systems in public housing and commercial buildings. For 12 years, he has been providing consultant services to building contractors and home renovators. Dale is a BC-certified Level One Building Code graduate (more info), a certified Associate Home Inspector, graduate of the Carson Dunlop Building Inspection Program and an active member of CAHPI (BC).

We are the only building inspection company in the Kootenay / Boundary region that are qualified to inspect large residential, commerical and industrial buildings.
